Chiropractic
Our approach to chiropractic care is three fold:
1) Address poor joint mechanics - If joints are not functioning as they should be, chiropractic adjustments are used to restore proper joint mechanics and minimize further irritation to local tissues.
2) Address muscle weakness - Sometimes muscle weaknesses can contribute to injuries, and sometimes injuries can cause muscle weakness (pain induced inhibition). Education on specific exercises to address your individual needs will be used to ensure rapid and long-term progress towards our goal of getting you pain free and resilient.
3) Address poor movement patterns - Often, pain can cause us to alter the way in which we move. These movement pattern alteration can often times give us short term relief with long term negative consequences, over working other muscles and joints causing more problems. Therefore, coaching to retrain proper, healthy movement patterns is a vital component to creating meaningful, long-term recovery.
